Notes on working with HPC clusters.

  • Containers with Apptainer: build a whole software stack once with Apptainer/Singularity and run it on any cluster, on x86_64 or aarch64.
  • Working on clusters: SSH access through jump hosts, Slurm job patterns, GPU Python environments, and getting by on old clusters without root.
